Dog on his Tuckerbox

One of Australia's most iconic characters is the dog on the Tuckerbox 5 miles from Gundagai. Well I have now seem him and very glad I did. John has visited him many years ago but this is a first for me. He looks so regal sitting there and attracts much attention. The little town of Snake Gully is a hive of activity with buses and visitors from all over the world wanting to meet him.

He also used to have Dad, Dave and Mabel not far but these statues were eventually donated to the town of Gundagai and proudly sit in the town next to the info centre. Talkies soon Xx Sonia n John
